Ragheb Alameh and Haifa Wahbi arrive in Canada (5 Nov 07)

According to the London daily Elaph, this week Lebanese supper-stars Ragheb Alameh and Haifa Wahbe arrived in Montreal, Canada to begin their tour, which is expected to achieve tremendous success.

The singers arrived just before they were to begin their concert at Le Park Conference hall.  Talal Ghazawi, who is organizing the concert was waiting at the airport to greet the singers and made all the necessary arrangements for them.

Fans swarmed the airport as the stars arrived. Both singers will host three concerts in Canada before heading to the United States.  
Recently, Ragheb Alameh gave a concert in the ‘Al- Thawrah Al Riyadeh’ area of San’a in Yemin. More than 40,000 fans were in attendance as Ragheb sang a variety of his songs, and fans of all ages cheered when Ragheb began singing Yemeni songs.
 
The minister of foreign affairs met with Ragheb to express his admiration and gratitude.  

This was Ragheb’s first visit to Yemen and he took time to visit historical sites with escorted by the tourism companies “Why,” including “Bab Al Yemen” (Yemen’s Door).
