The Human Rights Committee and its president Wasim Al Halabi
held a special ceremony to celebrate the naming of Lebanese
singer Dominique Al Horani as an ambassador for fighting drugs
and helping drug addicts.
According to the London daily Elaph, after the singer was
assigned the new post she gave a short speech in which she
revealed that she has already worked on a plan, which she
intends to follow, to help young drug addicts and try to provide
the required counseling that will put young kids on the right
track.
She added that she will make awareness campaigns that target
young children and that will expose to them the dangerous impact
using drugs has on their lives.
On other news Dominique was part of the Miss and Mr. Lebanon
beauty pageant, which was held by Triconya Company and its
president Wasim AL Halabi. The party was sponsored by ‘Sawt Al
Musica’ (Sound of Music) and a number of artists as well as VIPs
attended the event.
